Commission for tankana as Kung Fury, surfing a time hack aboard an Amiga 1200.
I know the Amiga 1200 came out about '92, but it's a computer from my youth and as it's a lot larger than the computer Kung Fury surfed on in the film it's a hell of a lot easier to pose with this perspective. The image started out quite well, but I did have a few problems in the later stages of the image, particularly doing the grid pattern in the background. Straight, clean lines are my arch nemesis in art and SAI doesn't have any tool for straight lines so I ended up doing a very round about, time consuming technique to do the grid.
