Aw, bluejays have an unfair reputation, they really are not as bad as most people think. Sure, some may be like that but that is like saying all humans are evil and bad, too.

Aw, glad you were able to save the baby robin! Your feelings are understandable, haha. They remind me of earlier this year when I was watching an osprey nest live cam. A few weeks after two chicks were born - long enough for a sizable amount of viewers to grow attached to the chicks, their feathers were growing in and they were going to fly for the first time soon - an eagle snatched up the two baby ospreys, everything caught on camera. :( Ever since then and after reading up on how eagles hunt, I view them less favorably now. I do have a newfound love and appreciation/sympathy for ospreys, at least. xD (Ospreys work hard to hunt for fish to feed their young, while eagles are "bullies and scavengers," waiting for birds like the osprey to do the work of hunting the fish, and then using their larger size to steal their catch from them.)
It is! The poor cameraman, it was part of the Audobon society so he REALLY wanted to save the second chick while it was still in the nest, but it's Audobon's policy that these live cams not interfere with the natural developments of nature. The cameraman (as well as the viewers) were so shocked and sad at the time, it was the first time something like this happened at this nest. I was very saddened by it too, it took a few days for me to also accept that it's the natural part of life, as cruel as it is, and even those eagles did not act maliciously but were only doing what they knew to survive. That doesn't make it any less sad, but at least makes it a little more understandable.
Whoa, dogs?! That's insane. Those hawks must be gigantic. xD
