I know lovecraft sweet one.. I know they ( and a whole host of others) are incredibly deadly.. what I'm hoping is that the tentacles in THAT book are very very friendly... that's all..

It's funny because in the Expansion for The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim: Dragonborn, you find books to read and when you open them a tentacles come out and wrap around you. This is the first thing I thought about.
