It seems I'm headed to finals! Not that I have much choice in the matter. I'd love to know how these evil giant textbooks managed to tie me up like this when they don't have any hands, but they had drugged the spring near my cave and by the time I'd realized it I didn't have the strength to resist when they ambushed me... I recovered after a little while, but it was too late: the bridle they strapped over my snout keeps me from using my fire or my fangs, my wings are pinioned, my paws are tied together and to the pole they're carrying me with, and they even bound my tail! I tried for nearly half an hour's march to break free but there was nothing I could do to escape, and the bridle keeps me gagged so I can't call for help... I'm helpless, and all I can do now is wait for my captors to arrive at our destination: final exams.

Reminder: I'm a writer, not a visual artist. So while I know this isn't actually any good I'm happy with it considering my very low level of drawing skill. Also, paws are hard. So are wings, but the pose made them easier in this instance... I meant to draw myself smaller, too, so I could fit more textbooks on the page, but oh well.

Anyway for those who are used to me posting stories, this is the reason I won't have anything to post for a while: I have finals (and final projects) during the next two weeks and I'm going to be incredibly busy with college work. (In fact, I'm already so busy that my roommate and I weren't both awake and in the room at the same time yesterday until about 10pm. Ugh.) But on the bright side, all the time off will give me an opportunity to come up with another batch of story ideas...
