This hike was for the pursuit of Marion Lake, which I could see on maps, but had no idea that it was basically inaccessible, except for brush-bashing through light jungle and sphagnum bog. The lake itself would be pretty, except for an extremely non-aesthetic clearcut logging patch immediately over the west side of the lake. Getting any coherent photo of the lake without that clearcut was nigh impossible.
