A submission piece that I am entering in a local contest. I'm pleased with it overall.
Unfortunately, this shrunken down verison (It was 11" X 14") really makes the colors like ew. I also had it printed out and the printed out version does not do this one justice either. I am saddened by this...
Until I remember: CONGRATULATIONS TO ME!! I actually got of my butt and finished this! I was so ecstatic that I bought myself some PizzaHut.
Best present ever.

Anything that has 1920's themes are like, the heart and soul of freeform art and such. You should seriously win the contest. If you do, I'll reward you with like, enough prize winnings to by a PERSONAL PAN PIZZA! Deep dish, LADY!

Seriously, I took precautions and worked in CYMK(which, I hated as well. Colors are not as awesome as RGB). I had another piece that I did in RGB and guess what? That came out identical to its monitor counterpart while the above sucker was way off from the original. Isn't that not supposed to happen that way?
Anyways, thanks! <3

I had a lot of problem printing in CMYK in school because of how many differences between monitor gamuts and print gamuts between manufacturers. There has got to be a centralized or standard form to work in that includes RGB printable colors. I mean, I'm SURE I've seen printed images with RGB in them, like in cheap theater magazines that were printed in CMYK.
You know what I think it comes down to? The printer. It needs to stop being a prick and communicate better.
I think we should develop a printer therapy course that allows the printer to open up to it's inner workings and allows for that damn wall it sets up to be broken down.

I want to open a printer and just punch it, like if you could save it up and throw a punch into something that would normally shred your knuckles, but just it would be invincible. I would do that to a printer. Preferably an HP or Canon printer because I hate them. Also printers have dust fetishes and will always get dust in them just to spite you.
