Digital painting, but not so quick as the others this time, done over the course of two nights.
Not just a mood piece either, a big storm rolled through Thursday, and I like rainy scenes in general. Was an interesting challenge to try and pull off, and like how it turned out myself.

Thanks, Hom. ^^
Being fuelled by more negative emotions lately, I did try to convey such feelings into the pieces... though with most of them being rainy scenes, guess weather and scenery like that has that inherent tone to it too. Normally if feeling down I don't normally draw at all, though i've seen artists make use of such emotions in their pieces before, so figure I can channel stuff into some art myself and make some use of it. And in this case, even when thae emotional backing waned a bit, a big storm on Thursday also gave some finishing inspiration.
Though I have been feeling mostly better in the past few days, might still try and do some more of these for something different or inbetween the usual furry stuff - emotions still come and go lately, plus I can also cite this guy's art (http://www.simonstalenhag.se/) as another possible influence - that and listening to the Silent Hill 2 soundtrack. Just a different approach to art for now, I guess. :)

No problemo!
I've personally found that being fueled by negative emotions can bring out the best in me as an artist. Some of my most favorite pieces have been drawn with such negative emotions - they can be a very powerful thing! ^^ It's also good to preoccupy yourself when experiencing those sorts of feels; art can be a great venting/coping method when dealing with personal issues. I can definitely see why weather gave you such inspiration - especially on this particular piece! It's VERY well done. The downpour of the heavy rain on the road, power lines, the city in the background, the car whizzing by, and that flash of lightning all add up to a very moody and great piece. Really caught my eye in my inbox!
That's good news, then! Glad you are feeling better. ^^ Take it easy, if ya can! :D
