It's a funny way of proving that he loves her, cos Gem won't know where to find him. Unless Paul of course wants to spend more time with Gem, by making time, simply by resigning from this job.

oh no. paul. maybe Gem might be lucky enough that he left a letter for her at work to give her info to where he is going. If so that makes this comic go from bad to good in terms of of Gem's sake. She doesn't seem to be doing to well. Without paul she could very well fall apart. Let's just wait a bit and see how it will truly pay out in this comic. I feel like Gem may be falling for Paul. Something he has been wanting for quite some time and now he quits so he can no longer see her beautiful face at work anymore. How sad.
