Ohai friends! Let's kick the weekend off with some new art from yours truly, hmmm?
Here's a piece for
York_Indayla Basilisk assassin, named Zinnia.
She had a really cool design to play around with. In particular, I treated her hair as more of elongated scales. Something along the lines, almost of what dinosaurs had. Her original design didn't include the braid. But I though it was a fun extra little detail to add in. An extra bell... or whistle... if you will. Anyway, she struck me as a very skilled hand-to-hand type a'fighter, with all that limber flexibility. AND, being a Basilisk (even one who can control her stone-inducing stare), I wanted her to have a piercing gaze. All in all, really fun pic to do.
Enjoy!

It's like a raptor about to swoop down on me from above. Every limb of her body looks poised to strike simultaneously, right down to her gaze. You're good at painting the impression how much a nightmare she'd be being capable of close combat on top of being capable of perpetually petrifying you. Incidentally, I love the scale pattern throughout her legs, especially the patch on her hamstrings (I hope the name of the body part right)
