I don't usually do pictures like this, but I got a rather unique request from my good friend Ota who wanted to show exactly why he needed the conversion that he did.
Basically his character was dying from some sort of illness and pleaded with Libra, the emperor of New Aztlan, to find some way to save him. His body was failing and there was no way to recover that, but Libra knew that he could utilize his Henkou technology to build him a new form, one that would be free of illness, weakness, and pain. He would become the new Ota that you remember from his reference sheet.
Later on, MERVAS would discover the unique connection that Libra and Ota had and would help restore a bio-mimetic form for Ota to enjoy as well, which would double as a doppelganger when Ota didn't need to use it personally.
A very emotional and touching piece, I just hope that it doesn't get ignored too much in favor of all the more raunchy stuff I do. ^^;

Imagine how I feel with every story I post. ^^;
That being said, this kind of picture makes me wonder if a soul can truly be transferred from its original body to a synthetic one. While one's memories, emotions, and everything else may indeed be copied, one must wonder if the person's own consciousness/awareness in the original body they're in will actually move into the new one along with everything else that person is or simply die with the original body while the "same" person who wakes up in said new body is not the same person who left said original body. You know what I mean?

Well no, not really. Because I was asking if the memories are transfered, as in, there's no interruption of the flow of consciousness from brain to storrage to android body.
So, after the procedure, he wouldn't still be in his biological body waiting for the euthenasia to kick in.
