These are the two primary movers in my Spontoon Island story A Game of Foxes and Badgers, seen here on FA and maybe soon coming to Spontoon Island!
Foxes and badgers are trickster characters in Japanese folklore.
On the left, Vice-Commodore Richard Broome, the gray fox who is the head of Rain Island's Intelligence Service.
On the right, Kaigun-Shosho (Rear Admiral) Nagai Hiro, the head of the tokubetsu keisatsu-tai, the Imperial Japanese Naval Secret Police.
They are NOT friends.
