"A pandorin, like a chimer, is always a hybrid, but not only that. All of them have shapeshifting Virtue that makes them capable of shifting between forms of different body structures. If you look at most pandorins, they don't look hybrids at all, until you see them shapeshift. For example, the famous Elpis has an lemur anthro body, but can shapeshift into a wolf feral body! Her parents are known to be a lemur and a wolf, and both have latent shapeshifting Virtues that contributed to Elpis being a pandorin. The pandorin Virtue is somewhat chaotic in the sense that many pandorins discover a third or even a fourth shape of another species that hasn't anything to do with their bloodline's Pillars. That is the case of Elpis herself, which remarkedly also has a pony shape. Note that his doesn't make Elpis capable of fooling most furries, all of her three forms are very similar to one another."
