So my photography class took a trip to the National Mall here in D.C. For those of you who don't know, the Mall is actually not a shopping mall, it is the location of the Smithsonian museums as well as many monuments.
We were walking through the Sculpture Garden, and I found this sculpture to be the most powerful. It just conveyed so much emotion especially sadness, loss, and pain.
I found this one part of it to be one of the most emotional. A lot of the other men in the sculpture did not carry as much feeling as this one.
Sculpture Information:
Auguste Rodin
French, b. Paris, 1840-1917
The Burghers of Calais
1884-89, cast 1953-59
Bronze

Since I don't have anything else to update at the moment, an old shot from earlier this year taken off my dA. As you can probably tell, I forgot to change the ISO down to a managable level which is why there is some grainy-ness. Yes, this was a while ago because now I check the ISO every time I turn the camera on.

It's interesting that you mention that. I was reading an article earlier about a post edit technique that will essentially allow you to take an ISO 1600 image and remove the noise such that it reaches spec of ISO 100, or better, in some cases. I'll give it a shot and let you know how well it works out. :)
