Two years or so back I saw a movie that was filmed in Tibet, with a great deal of yaks featured. I was taken by their wooly cuteness, their full, thick tails, and the way the wool was cut. I made several very quick sketches of both yaks & women's clothing, then promptly lost them.
Recently my local furry RPG group started a new campaign in D&D 4.0, with the DM putting a nicely-thought-out furry spin on things. I had just rediscovered those yak sketches, so I decided my character would be a yak.
I modified the traditional clothing; I figured the arms & legs would be amply warmed as-is (besides, I didn't want to cover up the wooliness!).
Still working on the staff. Wondering whether it should be changed to a warhammer, since the character gets more bonuses with it & therefor uses it more.
