It's upside down , looks pretty bad, sucks. This could've been avoided by just tilting the Ac unit to poit downward outside though D:

Time for lumber and drywall, if you dont have the tools to cut it yourself, Homedepot and Lowes will cut 2x4s to required lengths for you. they are awesome like that.

Can always do what I used to. after 30 days, send certified letter of intent. saying "Since you have failed to repair this to a livable state, I will affect proper repairs and deduct the cost of materials, and $20.00 per hour of labor from my next months rent."

Yes, many landlords actually prefer this to getting someone to do repairs. It's cheaper for them unless they are handy. The certified letter with pictures and requests for repair help if they decide to get shitty. It gives a level of leagal backing that no judge can turn down. I wish you luck.

Justs. I don't even know how this went unnoticed. I wish you could find a place that was safer to be while someone came in to fix all of this.

How it was unnoticed? Because it was practically behind a dresser, a fan, my trash can, and a large penny jug. I put that hole in the wall. Not anything else. I cut it out to see how bad things have gotten. Otherwise the wall would been solid.

As for the state of things now. The landlord knows, we have a new ac, there plywood sheets down to cover the whole areas, and much more. It is better. This was not our or anyone's fault.


Hun this has been a case of bad shit happening... it has been happening since I got on the train to AC. This year has been so horrible and it has no one to blame. It's why I begging for help because this time you can not put a fingerling a bad mate. It has been everything else. That's why I have the gofundme's up. Because she is trying her hardest as well.
