one of my oldest characters! the 7 year anniversary of the day i created her is coming up (september 28th, 2008!), so i thought it'd be nice to make an updated ref for her :3

i'm not too strict about saria's design; feel free to experiment if you decide to draw her! it's always nice to see other people's interpretations :D there's a couple of things i'm kinda weird about, though, and i feel the need to address them here:

saria has been drawn fat by a handful of friends - comically so a few times, but please don't misunderstand; she is NOT meant to be a fetish character. i'd really appreciate it if you didn't draw this character fat without my permission! i'm not going to be angry at you if you draw her chubbier than she is in her ref or anything silly like that, but this character is very special to me and i'd prefer if she wasn't used for fetish pics. thank you for understanding!!

besides that, the only other aspect of saria's design i ask remains the same is her scarf. she never takes it off! she doesn't have to wear it as a scarf (it can be worn as a belt instead, or in other creative ways!). it was a gift from her brother and she never takes it off!

i'm not specific about her markings (the black band can be on either arm and her tattoos can be whatever you want, though by default they're play, pause, fast-forward, and rewind - doesn't matter which symbol goes where). as long as they're there, i don't care :D
