This whole comic is a flashback:
Kamui leaves NGG at the tombstone
He then splits himself in two, so he can move on
This event is what separated these four characters/personas
As much as I was happy to finally make the scene where the relationship between Nishidor, Mr. Raccoon, Kamui, and NGG (NailGunGirl), I guess it felt self-centered again. But I'm glad to get another comic out of the way.

I'm with Asterik again as he remarks on the use of "symbolism." The discussions that seem to be transpiring, particularly in these latter editions, come off highly poetic and meaningful.
This may, or may not, be a fair statement, but I could really read over the parts with Kamui while listening to Nine Inch Nails' "Hurt" and get a total, inspirational rush from the amount of emotion that would come from combining the music to the colors, setting, and words that have come-to-pass as of late.

Quite. YouTube, and other sites, really opened the flood gates for people to take their crafts to new hights using video as a medium.
Here's a million dollar question for you. What kind of music do you seem to get the most inspiration from? All my work, although typically seen as childish or youth oriented, is typically written to the melodies of bands like "Nine Inch Nails," "Marilyn Manson," "Korn," "Nirvana," etc. If I'm not using that type of music, I'm usually listening to a soundtrack to something like "Ghost in the Shell" or something in-between.

Hehe, I think most of my inspirational music comes from video games or cartoons - they're usually calm and involve violins or pianos (I've loved the soundtracks from .hack//Sign or even the recent Horton Hears A Who.) But when moments in the comic get a bit more intense, I'm more likely to play songs that bring me back to certain times and memories that remind me of the moment I'm relating to in my work. I guess those fit what I make, but Im surprised yours seem kind of.... the opposite from what ya produce? :B
Yep, yep, yep! I've always told those who read my work that I'd delight anyone who'd interview me who'd ask, "What inspires you while you write?" For some reason, I think they'd consider editing that part out figuring it could bring about bad PR. ;)
On the other hand, I, too, have a fairly vast collection of Video Game soundtracks I tap into while I write as well. The ones I used most during my pre-surgery project were the "Resident Evil / Biohazard" ones. The story reads much like the Neopets fan-fic you are reading. However, the setting, for the most part, is an empty, dark city where such melodies add to the mood and suspense. :)

I think that might be so. 8D But it might be interesting enough for them to leave in too! Darker music like that can be a lot easier to relate to, or pull out deeper emotions than happy, cheery, simple tunes. (: That's what makes them more motivational, because they touch in a deeper place! If it doesn't do that, then it's just something playing in the background that you can ignore while ya work, I s'pose. :B
