You have to be familiar with the story of the Garden of Eden for this to make sense...
When time began they were our friends
In paradise they hoped would never end
Hearts beating as one with man
But in a snake hatched another plan
Teeth grown long and sharp
To do their friends so much harm
Forced to eat who once was kind
A part of them forever died
To make matters much worse
Humans now viewed them as a curse
But a few with fearful eye
Made friends with men who did not lie
And through that loving bond
The fear in their hearts was gone
A loyal protector, to all men
They felt the love of God, once again
Now they give their lives
In service to men, their true allies
Loving, loyal, protective and kind
Our hearts and theirs, forever intertwined.
Once chased, hated, hunted in their dens
They have become our closest of friends
All the beauty in the heart of a dog when close
Is also beauty and kindness in the heart of a wolf.

i apologize i was on a bender and may have worded that too defensive. I'm sorry. Trust me when I say, wolves are happier having free meals and living with people who love them. You are a Christian so you believe that God made the animals for us, so they have a natural spiritual tendency to want to be around us. Free meals+ being around humans they were created to be friends with = major win for them, and us.
The same nature of dog. There is nothing wrong with this. Dog has been domesticated and wolf still has it's wild nature. You keep warning people about. So they don't start thinking treating a wild WOLF as dog and get badly hurt. As you would say,you don't want to lose your face.
