The photographer had gotten the wrong end of the stick when he'd seen the hutch in the back garden, but Jennie had growled at Mick and he'd refrained from correcting the other fur's misunderstanding.

They'd been told to improve the public profile of the Magi Protectorate and would be allowed to pocket the fee for their own personal use. Jennie was taking it seriously. For the past month Mick had been unable to leave anything lying around for longer than a second without it being whisked away and put in it's proper place. He'd have started antagonising his apprentice to get his own back, but she was generally laid back and for all that she was his student he wasn't in the mood to be fireballed if he did push too hard.

They stood up and posed nicely for the cameras, silently praying that the intrusive interviewer wouldn't open any of the cupboards. Just a little longer and they could go back to normal, complete with its mess.
