that's literally the text of the comic, yes. the gender slider is more of a like, quick way to adjust a bunch of sliders at once, but then you can still go mess with them individually.
a lot of the sliders will adjust like sliders that are under them in the hierarcy, so you can either work in a big picture sort of mode, or go in to adjust individual things. height raises a bunch of individual length sliders at once, weight has an assumption of fat and muscle distribution, but that can be adjusted too.
