Next you'll say "Wow, I need this plushie in my life! Take my money!"
I did some searching recently and realized that there are no official Jojo plushies! I thought that was a shame and I knew I had to do something about it! So, I've brought you my favorite Jojo, Joseph Joestar! Joseph has been depicted in so many different color palettes that it was hard to choose. I had a legitimate struggle over what colors to make every part of him. If you look up cosplaly and fanart of him EVERYONE uses a different color palette! I ended up deciding to go with the purple version as it's my personal favorite! Though I did struggle with whether or not his hair should be purple. A lot of cosplayers use purple wigs for him, but I thought it might make it confusing in the context of a plushie, so I stuck with brown.
Anyhow, he's up for sale on my Etsy shop right now! Ready made plushies are cheaper than custom ordered ones, so don't miss out! He'll never be this cheap again!

As long as you're not actually manufacturing items of copyrighted characters most companies don't care or even find out that you're doing it. The most that usually happens if a company does care is they contact you and just tell you to stop doing it. The example I always think of is White Dove Creations who makes really expensive, but really high quality and show accurate My Little Pony Plushies. Hasbro contacted her asking her to not have her prices publicly view-able. She's still allowed to make and sell plushies and everything. That's the only time I've ever heard of a company contacting an artist.
Also, if you want to do anime characters then usually those characters aren't even licensed in the US anyway. Japanese companies also wouldn't care about it even if they knew.
