Some random doodles done as a futile attempt to improve my drawing skills. See, I came back from MFF with a more skeptical eye on artwork. And... I suck. Of course I never intended to be a serious artist--this was always more of a hobby than anything, but if I ever want to have a table at a con and contend with the other artists there I'd better kick myself in the arse and do better.
Right now I can't get the knack of traditional basic construction down and it drives me crazy because it's one of the reasons for my drawings being "off balance" (Thanks, Balto). Also I have zero inspiration right now, which doesn't help when you WANT to draw and try to improve. I'm most happy with the dumpy-looking squirrel-thing which was done totally sans blue pencil pre-sketch.

How odd....personally, I was always particularly fond of "bad" art (but not too bad.)
But if you want inspiration, it helps to be horny; don't ejaculate for a week, and you should be able to have the inspiration that is necessary to improve.
And another thing that I've noticed that your artwork doesn't have: shading. Shading is a technique that I never even thought to do until last September, but I've started doing it recently. I personally don't really see that much of a necessity for shading; I think your art looks wonderful enough as it is.
