It looks great! did you use any special brush?

Mostly just the regular round brush.

I have a few fur brushes I got from a standard Sai pack and I've made a few of my own bit maps, but 95% of the picture is just the flat round brush tip

I tried to make some fur brushes,but they didn't look very useful.Do you know where to find some good fur brushes for photoshop?

I would just search 'fur brush pack or set' on deviant art and see what comes up you should get a number of hits, then you can kinda choose which ones you want based in the artist.

I try to avoid using brushes too much because I'm still a beginner and every art book I've ever read has said to use the round brush until you've mastered it because the other brushes make things faster but can also cheat you out of skill and ultimately will put you behind if you start using them without developing the techniques you want first.

You're right.It's easier to draw with one brush, for paintings, i usualy use a round rigid brush and it's working well for the shading and coloring parts. Anyway, i'll search for some brushes there,i want to test more brushes just to see how they work,maybe they will be useful :)
