The stall speed of the storch is of 46 km/h against 63 for the Piper and the Storch could land on 30m and take off on a distance 60m when the Piper need a field of minimum 250m and the Storch was faster than the Piper.

I've seen a cub do some pretty amazing shit, but for sure the storch is a better STOL plane. Fugly as get out tho!
