A lot of my worlds exist in a Hub style Multiverse. Rather than having different realities stacked in layers they instead connect along the Hub lines. So when the Dragon Lords came to Port Ransom, they originated in one of the Hub realities and were attempting to control the spoke universes. Spoked universes have similar laws/rules of operation. A universe that shares orbit with two Hubs can have conflicting rules of reality that allows things like powered heroes, magic and 'super' science. For example, it is possible the suit worn by Miss Malamute follows the laws of Hub-B1a while she herself is in Hub B1, Since her suit operates outside of normal world law it is more difficult for things from her home Hub to affect the suit.
If two spoke worlds interlock it represents parallel worlds.
Events in one Hub can influence all of its spoke universes even travelling to other Hubs through shared lines. Watcher Witch, should I get to her story, will operate out of Hub A. Any changes to the good she can bring about ripple along the connection lines to make all the Hubs a little bit. better
