[This is only one of three variations of this picture. See the unclothed version here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17749184/ and the conjoined version here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17750860/ ]
This drawing isn't exactly as "finalized" as I usually strive to do with my art, but it's one that was always intended to "test" a concept, so I figured not everything needs to be done with maximum effort. Especially considering how many WIP drawings I currently have accumulated...
Shiro (blue fur) and Kenchi (green fur) are brothers who have been fused into one two-headed body several years ago with no way apart. Until they came into possession of these magical bracelets, at least. As opposed to the merging bracelets ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17687997/ ), these are duplication bracelets. If someone were to wear both of these, they would become duplicated into two independently operating copies of themselves until the bracelets are removed, at which point the user will once again become one person and retain the memories of both copies.
Things work a bit differently when a two-headed duo wears them, though. In Shiro and Kenchi's case, their body becomes duplicated as expected, but with only one of their heads on each copy, making it possible for them to spend time separately. Unfortunately, the pair they have found is very low on energy. As Shiro's dialogue explains, these bracelets run out of energy after just one day of use, then they have to spend at least a month and a half stuck to each other while the bracelets recharge (meaning they still spend most of their time in one body), which will then run out of energy again after one day of use, and so on. When the energy runs out, they reform into their usual two-headed form in the current location of one of them, always "chosen" at random.
In the clothed version in particular, they are both wearing outfits they often wear together. It's sorta neat seeing both outfits next to each other in the same picture (even if I couldn't manage to draw Kenchi's vest that well...)
