So with Talk Like a Pirate Day being last weekend, Moi got a little curious and started poking around his family tree. And lo and behold, look at what Moi discovered! He actually *DOES* have Buccaneer Blood in his veins!

It turns out that Moi's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather roamed the Caribbean at approximately the same time as the notoroius Blackbeard! Couldn't find out if they were friends or rivals, though. Probably the latter.

The only other info I could dig up on my ancestor is that muscular men in VERY tight shirts were required for his crew. And that while others were known for being heroic swashbucklers, Captain Pinkbeard was known as a notorious swash UN-buckler! ;)
