At one point, Troy tried to help Burst with his Roar attack. It ended with the Shinx getting angry and flustered and cursing him out. Troy took it in stride, which is one of the reasons they get along so well. Burst's short temper and abrasive personality make it difficult for him to get along with others, so it's good for him to have a friend who doesn't react to his tantrums. XD
Burst thinks Troy is the coolest thing since sliced pie, but expresses it through jealousy. Sammy is very sick of hearing how awesome he is. X3

...You know, I happened to catch the joke in the CUSTOM USER TAGS which I do happen to read, you know. x)
It's the traditional lion roar off/roar training that I didn't think I'd really see outside of The Lion King Fanart page. (Yes. There really is one.)
I think what stands out to me is Troy happening to look like a traditional lion. As in the big brother that Burst didn't get but honestly needed in ways that most could just guess. [That and like the rugged look he happens to have going for him. It just
works with the amount of blue and the jeans he's wearing. It's like he's naturally the outdoors type.]
...And Burst by comparison.....
Ok, this is the part of the comment which gets interesting, as I'm going to look at the pants he's wearing that stand out the
most... As a symbol of manliness and incredibly stalwart masculinity...
.....which the boy seems to be lacking a bit of. [I said a BIT of. Just a BIT. As he you draw him in redeeming pictures like this
which shows he's giving effort into improvement, and not just falling into that femboy realm this hell hole of a site is based around..]
At least he LOOKS like he's roaring.
In that Kimba esque fashion that all Shinx happened to be based around.
And for that, I can say I like this picture.
Because it's not only entertaining, but it makes for respectable character development.
