You have that problem too? I was having fits with Flash CS3 until a few days ago.

Mine was locking itself up every time I tried to click the Timeline while the Direct Selection Tool (hollow arrow) was picked and there were direct-selection handles displayed on some object in the Stage. Now that I know not to do that, I haven't had a lockup since.

Also, Fat Talbain is cute. Nice work for starting out!
