Here is one more doodle of 'Waffles' the donkey (drawn years ago, when I was a 'toll collector', and I had nothing better to do when no cars were approaching my lane).

Although the inspiration for the images of a fattened 'Waffles' came from his creator - Shottsy85 - the inflated version of him was solely inspired by the talents of legendary equine artist Big Horse. Anyway, after a particularly overenthusiastic eating binge, 'Waffles' gets an upset stomach, and takes too much bicarbonate of soda to relieve it... with predictable results! (I was considering doing a completed drawing of these images, with 'Rob Cat' talking to 'Fleecy' on the side, asking her "Is Waffles a 'beast of burden'?" and she'd reply, "More like a 'beast of burpin'!" Hence, the corny title!)

Some of you might think that this pair of doodles were simply a knock-off of Big Horse's two-part piece "Waffles, Coke, and Mentals"...
