Next level unlocked, found a working Portable CS5 but ran into a few hiccups, turns out my GPU driver is 4 years outdated.

Colored the detective from the 'police tape' piece for a few hours to check for crashes and bugs. Everything checks out, works better than CS4 AND I get the fancy tilt brushes, the bristles make texturing that much faster.

Also training myself to color without relying on outlines.


Real talk: Coloring sans outline is part of my contingency plan. Gonna try my hardest to live on freelance, failing that I'll have to return to the industry and mastering digital colors is a must.

Also to prioritize: backgrounds and speed concepting.
