When I was about 10 or 11 I found a stash of Famous Monsters of Filmland at a local flea market. I wasn't a complete monster movie die hard fan, but those zines stuck in my memory.

Wow, sorry to hear about that. I grew up on Famous Monsters. They were the ones who started the rumor that there was a version of King Kong vs Godzilla where Godzilla wins. Untrue but the rumor lived for years. He will be missed.
