Indeed! They're a specialized feral pokemon hunter that exorcises dangerous ghosts. Though ghosties in this setting don't require a ritualistic ceremony to deal with, they do require a specialized sort of fighting... Vasha's main personality chose this path in life, the only other spirit that has any sort of experience in such a field is the huntress, who hunted non-ghost pokemon. However, some of the same tactics have proven useful to Vasha!

Mainly because it lets them roam without their personality changes drawing too much suspicion... Vasha is a bit of a stereotypical loner, and often worries about how others will respond to their "condition," But they also feel a bit of a duty to protect people from malicious spirits! Vasha decided on this path when she was quite young, though I haven't ironed out exactly why just yet
