Delicious fish.
Delicious, self-explanatory fish.
Recipe adapted from my dad having a freezer full of fish that my uncle in florida brought up here.
COMPONENTS:
Fish (I used either grouper or redfish or something, not sure which)
Rice
Egg
Garlic powder (optional)
Pepper flakes (optional)
MODUS OPERANDI:
Cook the fish however you like. Grill it, fry it, saute it, whatever.
* From Chris: about 5 - 10 minutes until the flesh becomes white and firm.
Cook the rice. I used the bagged kind. If you're using the not-bagged kind, follow the enclosed instruction book. I can't help you there.
...Well, actually I can, but nobody got time for that.
* From Chris: Follow the instructions for 'boil in bag' rice on the box.
Plate the fish with the rice and add garlic powder and/or pepper flakes if you want.
Fry an egg or 2. (Don't be fooled by the picture. I had 2 pieces of fish and not enough rice. It could have done with another egg but that was the 4th egg I'd had that day. Nobody got time for all that cholesterol.)
Headlong into the food coma.
Thinking about expanding this recipe later on :I
