[Old Art] Cherry Blossoms

Original Description:
Once upon a time, in a faraway land... There was a tiny village by the name of Kamiki. Legend tells of a horrible beast that threatened the residents. It also tells of the wolf that risked it all to protect them. Controlling the very fabric of existence, this wolf stood up against a beast many times its size and banished the darkness. This ethereal wolf's valiant act ushered in an era of tranquility. The villagers' hearts swelled with respect and adoration of the wolf.
Okay, so I might have been fiddling around with the whole okami-style that I've managed to get with my brushes, and I might have been analysing official Okami artwork to see how they do things, and I might have have gotten a little carried away with making my own stuff, and...
...and just enjoy it, dammit~

Thoughts Now:
Well, my okami style has certainly advanced since this, but I still like it for what it is. It was an entirely new style, and something that I thoroughly enjoyed making! Heck, I liked the ending so much, I even have this as a poster on my wall, and I'm looking at it as I type :3
Still, the advancement in style is evident already, and that's not a bad thing from where I'm standing - but for my first proper foray into Okami art? I'm still rather proud of what I did!
Enjoy ^^
