At first I thought it was a really bad idea that I freaking COVERED the whole thing with a medium-purplish marker.. But.. It made it look really dark out, and made the stars pop out a lot. : D

As far as mood and atmosphere goes, this is my favorite piece we have done together.

the purple really helped make the sky more natural, so it wasn't just blueblue&blue

Pretty. I love the simplicity (although I'm sure the layering of markers was anything but simple!). I love how bright the stars are :)
