Reminds me of the Yagudo in Final Fantasy 11: https://www.google.com/search?q=yag.....0&bih=1013
I must say this is done exceptionally well, most anthropomorphic birds lack any true wings or just look like a normal bird. I think the basic idea most lack (and this does not) is that the wings would be huge. Think about it your average birds body is what 1/5 it total wingspan I would say, even if you made the wings 50% larger it would not be off.
DAMN, your art is fantastic!
I've honestly been on a huge artistic slump for the past couple of years. I used to love painting traditionally, and being super experimental (my love for birds has never died though), and you were always a huge inspiration of mine. Just seeing this piece right now has made me decide to branch out again - to try and go back to my origins. Maybe it's because I'm feeling nostalgic and only just re-discovered you, maybe it's because I got a kenku tattoo on my wrist last week and this seems like a sign? Who knows.
But this is an awesome painting, I love the character in the bird's face, and I love the wonderful cross between natural and anthropomorphic you've created <3
