Gather 'round kiddies! It's time for Uncle Adrik's Storytime! A new feature here on FurAffinity where everybody's favourite and furriest self-proclaimed half-Jew gathers you around his reading tree and tells you a delightful story underneath a magical rainbow.
But not to worry! These tales are wholesome, warped family fun from your neighbourhood word-scribbling Wolf! And my intent is to keep these stories short that way you can help those unruly kids drift off into the land of sugarplums and magic dragons!
For the introductory tale, I wrote a simple story about a married couple having a late-night argument over some ham. Nothing special about this story...I guess you could say I only wrote it to practice up on my character conversation skills.
Or in a more truthful note...I guess I wrote it because Nicole and I used to have inane conversations like this all the time. Not really arguing or fighting...but just random conversations where we would compete to make the other flustered and give up. I really do miss those moments.
But I'm not letting it affect my demeanour. It had its time and now I have moved on. Nothing wrong with reminiscing.
But like I said...this tale isn't anything special. Just random silliness.
Enjoy!

Well I'm glad you enjoyed it!
It was just a simple, quick story to show myself that I can write a shorter, structured story that doesn't need to be filled to the brim with detail and over ten pages. Especially for something as a simple idea about ham.
BTW, I got your note regarding the Thursday Prompt. I didn't see the theme in any of your journals though....Am I missing something? Is there a new page or site I go to in order to see the Prompts? Any information would be much appreciated!

I started a site specifically for it. You can take a look at what we've done so far or just pitch right in for the current prompt which I think you'll really like.

I was just picking out two names that began with the letter M! I swear hehe
The day before yesterday....okay that is the day I WROTE this story....It sounds like there was some mental salt transference going on between your salt shaker and my typing paws
I just hope your boyfriend wasn't too harsh during the conversation. I always hated arguments over trivial things, such as cooking or the way to fold laundry, that's why I just typed up this silly story as a way to show that the simplest disagreements are usually based on really unimportant issues. I always heard that it was important to have arguments and disagreements in a healthy relationship...maybe thats where I went wrong. *shrugs*
Anyhow....I can't see that ban on salt lasting too long in your household....you've got to have the seasonings! (Hit me up if you need any advice on how to make your next meal extra tasty! I seem to be blessed with magical culinary paws! That way your boyfriend will be begging to buy you a spice rack!)
