Height:
Just a quick tidbit. I don't care if they're inches tall, or regular height. If you want the Petafrill to be a giant, then go for it. Inches are just their canon group. If you feel like breaking it, just say it was by some magic or something that made them bigger. :P
Bio:
Each Petafrill is born from sap shaped like an egg. Once they are born, their parents give them a sentence that belongs only to them. This sentence is not supposed to be shared with anyone except for their family, closest friends, and their future partner(s). Their have been cases where relationships have broken, and a Petafrill has had their sentence spread, and destroyed them socially.
Petafrills often stay close to their family tree. During family reunions or mating season, Petafrills hang around on their tree, and often make their family trees look like sakura trees. Their tails are often mistaken for sakura tree buds.
The mating ritual:
Petafrills use magic to reproduce, so gender does not matter. The two Petafrills will sit in a circle of flowers, and hold their hands together. They then speak in their native tongue the sentence that was given to them at birth. As the two continue chanting, their new egg is slowly formed from their magic between their hands, thus both parents are holding their new egg. If the egg is not held by both parents during this ritual, the child commonly grows up distant from the parent who didn't hold the egg.
