The bickering crew of the Lady Luck, a battered old cargo hauler converted into something somewhat more liveable, make their (meagre) fortunes salvaging wrecks and scavenging from derelict or abandoned stations. What holds a disgraced marine corps major, an arrogant 'negotiator', an overly curious engineer, and a wise but fiery tempered pilot together is something of a mystery - even to themselves. Now our motley crew have been told of a potentially rich prize - an abandoned corporate mining station, one that hasn't been stripped down to its component parts yet.
But is valuable salvage all that awaits them aboard the M-4 station?
Another indulgent project for myself and gift for the lovely pinsandneedles, featuring several of my characters and her own cabbit, Gage Massacre. Obvious influences here but hopefully one I've put my own little spin on to make it enjoyable in its own right.
