Ah that's awesome! I joined back when the site was new, and I've watched it fall downhill ever since then.
Such shit going on on the site itself and I hate it. Aha.

It is, unfortunately.
I've witnessed it many times.
It's not blatantly obvious but I have seen it many many times.
I'm sure as an employee you aren't allowed to talk bad about the site so I understand.
I was just sharing my personal experiences with the site over the many years I've been there.
But it really is great you've been hired. Maybe with your art on the site I can sort of get back into it if I don't see the mods abusing their power again haha.
(Why I avoid the forums and trading center and all that)

Oh ahaha. I was wondering how much they paid, honestly. I never knew. I always assumed it was probably minimal though. which sucks.
Yeah unfortunately, I've been on the site very heavily in the past and very very active in the community there, so I witnessed it almost everyday. But obviously if you aren't active or don't actively participate in the site, you probably won't see it much.
The mods play favorites and abuse their power. (Such as letting their friends get out of trouble, doing things for their friends that isn't allowed for the "general" user base, punishing users who haven't broken any rules, etc).
They hired new mods a few months back (maybe ...4-6 months ago? I'm bad with time) and they honestly hired people not "qualified" to fill the positions and the only reason those people were chosen was because they were friends with existing mods.
The "new" mods never really do what mods are suppose to do, answer questions, help people out, deal with reports. I only ever see them playing in the "game" forum. Literally that's it.
And like I said, it might not be blatantly obvious, if you start looking for it, you might find it.
I've seen people make comments and such that are OBVIOUSLY against written rules on the site, reported it, and the mods were like "well this isn't against the rules" (even though it was).
Then later, I found out that the person was friends with the mod(s) and that's why they didn't get in trouble.
It's really shitty because the site USED to be so great.
Now it's just a a pile of garbage for the most part. :\ Obviously here are still some nice people and such, and on the surface it looks like a great site, but pull back their veil and you see what it really is.
I'm not sure if it's any better now than it was, I've been told it's gone down hill MORE, but since I'm not really active there anymore (I only get on to talk to a couple people honestly) I can't say if it is still shitty or not. But the people who have told me it's still going downhill, I trust a lot so.
I suppose with any kind of large community site, there is going to be some shit going on, but if it's a good site, in my opinion, they'll handle stuff like that. I dunno. Lol
