Slenderman Speedpaint

This was my first time making a painting-style digital piece. I'm an oil painter so I understood the concepts this was just my first time trying it digitally (much cleaner!)

I wanted to start with something simple so I went with Slenderman. 



I absolutely adore the Slenderman mythos, was quite obsessed with it a few years back. Slenderman is my favorite example of a living, evolving mythos, in that the original Slenderman creepypasta and the current iteration of Slenderman story are two very different things.



I tend to think of Slenderman as something akin to an eldritch horror, like Lovecraftian monsters.



Anyways this was me mostly fooling around with different techniques. I went into this using a speedpaint tutorial but since this took around 4ish hours its not technically a speedpaint. Oh well, I immensely enjoyed making it.
