So  sirnight777 told me that I should stop drawing all this Café Plaisir stuff, and instead draw myself having fun.

So this came to mind; a picture that I've wanted to draw in some way for a while, and taking inspiration from Battlestar Galactica I made it a reality :3

In the show, the twelve tribes of Kobol are desperately trying to survive against the threat of the Cylons, and in doing so they are seeking out the home of the thirteenth tribe, a mythical planet called Earth. This is my interpretation; myself, a lone pilot, sitting at the mouth of the Galactica's port flight pod and dreaming of that distant solace from all the troubles of humanity.

Thoughts Now:
This... is certainly a picture. Honestly, there's not much I can say about it. I like the camera angle and how I did the galaxy, and I feel the roughness of the Galactica and the Earth do leave the picture slightly lacking, but overall I feel I did rather well on it.

So let's talk about the show: Battlestar Galactica, the re-imagined sereis. If you like sci-fi drama, I do suggest this most definitely! While it's not as out-there actiony as Star Wars or as philosophical as Star Trek (most of the time), and it doesn't have the humour of Stargate - it does have a compelling plot about the last vestiges of humanity holding out against a threat they created themselves, and explores that quite significantly. A lot of mystery and intrigue surround the show, and includes several rather compelling over-arcing plots. Add in some very cool action scenes here and there and some genuine character moments, and you've got a show worth watching.

(Now to find the fifth season so I can watch how it all ends...)
