My fourth and final work of 'classic typewriter art' (from forty years ago) is a most appropriate way to end my latest 'sweeps month' (September, 2015)...
Originally, it was planned to be posted on September 25th, to coincide with the fact that Christmas is just three months away. However, by the sheerest of coincidences, I am posting it, just as Pope Francis is at the halfway point of his American tour. In fact, I am posting this image less than an hour after the Pontiff visited the site of 'Ground Zero' in lower Manhattan. He gave an address at a special chapel, where a choir of youngsters sang "(Let There Be) Peace on Earth"...
Once again, I had used my mother's Royal manual typewriter to render this image of the "Madonna And Child" - based, this time, on a computerized version of the same image. The big difference is, the computer used all capital Xs and Os, while I'd used lower-case Xs and Os (and no other characters). Furthermore, I was able to half-line each row of letters - giving the image more dimension (as compared to the elongated version made with said computer).
I hope that you had enjoyed this special (and very rare) presentation of mine, and (as always) any form of 'feedback' from you is welcomed.

I enjoyed this series of vintage art from the past! Kinda reminded me of the animated film Primiti Too Taa, entirely animated on a Remington typewriter!
