Lynx from chrono cross doesn't get enough attention.
Thanks for the chance man :3 "
I thought a dark BG would fit him, then I realised it doesn't look great. So I went ahead and tried something different with the shading again. I tried doing some kind of "filter" to the whole image to make it fit the background better.
I didn't want to include the hat, but it IS iconic for Lynx I guess?

I know this comment is way late and out of the blue, but I just discovered your gallery doing a Chrono Cross search. I have to say this piece is very well drawn! It brings back a lot of nostalgia; you just can't beat the feeling of running around Home World and Another World as a kitty cat villain. XD Lynx is one of the characters that got me into furry, anyway... Fingers crossed that the "dream team" comes together again to work on the sequel, Chrono Break, before it is lost to the abyss.
Enjoy a +fav and a +watch!

Gotcha. I still have yet to play the Xenoblade series from Monolith Soft, so I am thinking Xenoblade Chronicles for Wii or the N3DS might be a good first choice. I also love me some Yasunori Mitsuda tunes, hence the interest in XC. I give the Chrono Cross album a spin every now and again... The OST is just sublime!
Oh, that's unfortunate that Mitsuda only had one track in the game. I remember that he worked so hard on the Chrono Trigger soundtrack that he literally got sick from the stress and pressure. His dedication really showed up in Trigger, although hopefully he has now learned to take breaks to recharge...
Yoko Shimomura of Kingdom Hearts and Parasite Eve fame is the bomb!
Had to look up the third one, Ace+, and I'll keep an eye out for them in other titles, given the quality of the Xenoblade soundtrack (I've only listened to a few of the songs so far, like Gaur Plain, which is my fav).
