When I was 15 and just played RPG for my first time, I created Yara, the twinsister of my main fursona, Karn. And yes, already stating from the realtion to Karn, she looks absolutely similar except for size, eyes and piercing. Very creative, I know. I even knew past then.
I never intended to keep her so I didn't care. But she actually became a memorable part of mine and as that, I didn't want to change her afterwards.

Haha, yeah but that was a character of your own creation that became something of your own making.
(This Kaira, is a Kiara copycat that is on Feral Heart, and its one of the many thousands of cubs that Kiara and Kovu have. Like Kova, Kavu, and lord knows whom else. )

Unoriginality, it's everywhere. Some people are just not meant to be creative, as it seems.
