Well.. as anyone that knows me'll tell ya, I couldn't do anythin' fer long without puttin' a humorous spin on whatever m'workin' on artistically an the culinary arts are no exception!

Been a longtime lover'a shrimp an I've enjoyed a good shrimp cocktail every blue moon or so often... but had never really made it m'self... an I'd wanted ta make mine with a humorous spin after tryin' ta locate a nice shrimp cocktail sauce recipe (an there were tons ta chose from! an all had some ingredient or other that I lacked so in frustration I said sheesh they oughtta make a shrimp cocktail fer dummies!... then glanced ta the side where I keep 4 minature art dummies on the shelf in my office an that was all it took... I jus' HAD ta make this vision come true!

So while I can't take credit fer makin' any'a the sauces by hand I hope this comical lil' presentation gives ya grumblytummy/belly laughs :)

ingredients:

1 bag of collossal shrimp
shrimp cocktail sauce
ranch dressing
1 tomato
Mrs. Dash garlic & herb seasonings
parsley
1 large martini glass
4 miniature art dummies
1 long piece of string

directions:

Take string and tie the 4 dummies around the martini glass then fill halfway with shrimp cocktail sauce, then add ranch dressing, place in 8 of the collosal shrimp then top with a bit more cocktail sauce then sprinkle with parsley. Set in large saucer then slice 1 tomato then cut slices in half and arrange around the base of the glass, drizzle with more ranch dressing then add sprinklin's'a the Mrs. Dash an parsley an ta-da!

A fun lil' appetizer ya can serve at social gatherings or enjoy by yerself :)
