I feel rather depressed with this one... It makes me think about how it would truly feel to know your death, and know you could do nothing about it.
And the damn kitsune! It's like she's taunting him! They are known to be rather mischievous... As an avatar, they can't rightly lie (unless they are the bad kind, of course...), but you can tell she's toying with him.

Sorry about all the errors in this one. Rick is the main character of another story and I kinda wrote most of this chapter late at night, nearly half asleep... So, yeah... That'll need to get fixed.
