Lachlan is a fisherman who works with Drew on the docks at Sheet Harbour. He tends to draw more than a few awkward questions there, like, why does a lobster have chest hair? How did a lobster end up fishing for a living? How does he breathe on land? Does he ever have ethical qualms about where his life had led him? When Drew punches him in the arm or if he stubs his toe, does he feel it?
He doesn't bother himself with such questions, though. He just keeps on keeping on.
