Oh, I know what you mean. There are two things that tend to kill me off and require me to re-collect all the musical notes:
* Boss Boom Box
* The engine room, with those propellers that you have to slow down.

In fact, if Boss Boom Box appears during Gruntilda's game show, I know I'm skrewed 'cause I've never won that version of Boss Boom Box. Extra suckage if that happens on one of those doom spaces.

Boom Box gave me trouble until I realized you could use the Wonderwing against him. Then I just turned that on and waited for him to kill himself against me. o:

But those damn propellers area source of endless frustration for me. Dx
